City of Ely Netball Club launched its Junior section on September 13th 2012. Energetic young players meet for weekly training, progressing onto competitive matches. We provide fun matches and training for girls in school years 8 upwards. (From 16 years old players will be invited to train with the senior squads).

If you want to register your interest in City of Ely Netball Club Junior Section please e-mail us at juniornetball@hotmail.co.uk  We need to know your name, your date of birth, your current school year/the college you attend and the email address of a parent / guardian that we can use to contact you.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to offer places to everyone who comes along to this session as there is a high demand for Netball teams in this area. Places will be offered based on observation of match play, engagement, positive attitude, potential and willingness to learn. Anyone who is unsuccessful on this occasion will be added to our mailing list and kept informed of future opportunities.

Please note that players on the teams need to be able to be able to commit to attending training sessions on Thursdays during term times 6:15pm-7:15pm at Witchford Village College, and also be available to play matches on Sunday afternoons in Cambridge.

We want to build confident, committed teams, coached by some inspirational ex-Junior players and our experienced senior player coaches.

Netball at City of Ely should be fun and our juniors should feel safe and enjoy the sport. Our club safeguarding officer is Paula Edwards (please see our safety poster).
